Brief Bio – Margaret Adams
I’m a content marketing strategist and an expert in business communications.
I spend most of my time helping professional services firms and expert consultancies connect more effectively with their chosen audiences via their websites, their authority content, their social media applications and via their business presentations.
I work exclusively with clients who want to use the online world to build their authority and their reputations online to increase their profits and extend the reach of their businesses, quickly.
- Sometimes I work alongside my clients, helping them to develop their ability to influence the buying decisions of their target market.
- Sometimes I write online content for my clients’ businesses.
- Sometimes I lead masterclasses to help businesses to find ways to differentiate themselves from their competitors through their choice of communications strategies.
I’ve been doing this for a long time and I’d be happy to help your professional practice achieve more by using my content marketing and content writing skills.
My first degree is an English degree. This gave me a good understanding of how to use language to influence people and to create an impact.
After gaining my post-graduate certificate in education I spent quite a few years teaching young people and adults how language works. Then, as a lecturer, I worked with businesspeople helping them to learn the principles of influencing behaviour through the careful choice of words and communications media.
I also taught businesspeople how to write simply, concisely, unambiguously and accurately.
After leaving teaching I moved into Human Resources. I’m a Fellow of The Chartered Institute Of Personnel And Development and I hold a higher degree in a management discipline.
When I started my own business I took on a whole range of large consultancy projects in the field of business improvement. As part of my consultancy brief I often wrote reports, training programmes and e-guides for my clients along with handbooks and a range of expert reports on business improvement themes.
Margaret has been able to help me define my target clients and differentiating them as well as clarify my messages and services.

In this book I set out what an expert professional should focus on in terms of business building and business development in that important first month in business.
